Gold Leaf Letters and 3D Sign for Aveda Salon in Saratoga, California
Sign artist John Espinola made this 48″ diameter circular sign of 1-1/4″ MDF plywood. He had the center blasted, creating a textured background and smooth raised continents on the map as well as the flower and the word Aveda.
He painted everything in oil enamels. He gilded the formed plastic letters and two buttons on the outside border in 23Kt gold leaf. Finally, he painted and attached the arrow.
