Custom Dimensional Sign Faces for Salon Soule in Campbell, California
Sign artist John Espinola interpreted this salon’s business cards in 3D for this double-faced sign. He used two 4′ x 8′ x 1/8″ sheets of aluminum composite material for the backgrounds, painting the stripes in oil enamel.
He cut the ovals from 1/2″ MDO plywood and painted the burgundy-on-burgundy designs on them before cutting and applying the text in high-performance vinyl. He cut the address numbers at the top and the phone numbers on the bottom from 1/4″ PVC material and painted them before mounting them in place.
