Innovative Custom Pole Sign for San Jose High School, California
Art Works designed this pole sign for San Jose High School when a combination of architecture and construction materials made placing signs ON the building impossible. The pole stands 32′ high including the atom weathervane on top. It is made from 1/4″ aluminum, is 7″ in diameter, and has a powder coated finish.
Each of the signs is made from 1/4″ aluminum and attached to the pole with stainless steel rivets. The blade sign has a clear anodized finish. Both the atom and the PLTW letters are finished with epoxy paints. The atom weathervane on top actually spins.
