Model Continuation School Award Sign for Del Valle High in Livermore, California
Sign artist John Espinola put high performance vinyl films over a hand painted background to give this emblem superior vibrancy and durability. It is 48″ in diameter and cut from 3/4″ MDO plywood.
An oil enamel base coat was applied to all sides. A clear anti-graffiti coat was added on top of the finished emblem for extra protection.
