California Distinguished School Sign for Cupertino High
Sign artist John Espinola made this California Distinguished Schools emblem from 1/8″ aluminum composite material. The stars and stripes are separate pieces attached to the background. All pieces are coated in oil enamels.
The 5′ x 10′ emblem (approx.) is bolted to the wall with 1″ standoffs. Espinola also chose and installed the formed plastic letters on the wall at upper right. Letter heights range from 15″ to 12″.
