Custom School Sign for Lowell Elementary in San Jose, California
John Espinola cut and assembled this sign from two 4′ x 8′ pieces of 3/4″ MDO plywood. He put an oil enamel finish on all sides and used oil enamels for his hand lettering.
He made the California Distinguished School award sign, a 19″ circle of 1/4″ aluminum with a baked enamel finish and high performance vinyl graphics, and mounted it to the sign. he attached the sign to 4″ x 4″ galvanized steel posts.
