Custom School Sign for Sam Lawson Event Center in Cupertino, California
Sign artist John Espinola carved all elements of this sign in the Lawson Middle School gym from High Density Urethane foam. The lightning bolts on either side of the stage are 20″ x 10′ x 2″.
They are gilded in aluminum leaf and mounted using concealed brackets. The letters are flat-faced with beveled edges. They are cut from 1″ foam and finished in latex paint. They are 24″ & 20″ tall, stud mounted with 1/2″ stand offs.
