Custom Award and Entrance Signs for Williams Elementary in San Jose, California

Sign artist John Espinola surrounded the ordinary metal school sign in the center with a frame of 2″ x 6″ kiln dried redwood, then built matching signs on either side for the California Distinguished and National Blue Ribbon School awards. Each is 1′ x 6′, surrounded by a redwood frame and set on 3″ galvanized steel posts.

Espinola painted all 3 signs in colors to match the school. He mounted 12″ and 6″ cast aluminum letters in an anodized gold finish to the name sign and 2″ letters of the same material to the award signs. The emblems themselves are approx. 8″ diameter, cut from 1/8″ aluminum composite material and covered with colored high performance vinyl film graphics.
