Residential Stained Glass Interior Window in Campbell, California

John Espinola designed his window to fit the arch in a stucco wall that had once been an outside wall, but is now part of the home’s interior. The top photo shows the window from inside the second-story master bedroom, and the bottom right photo shows a view from downstairs.

Espinola took special care to brace this window by soldering 1/4″ flat steel rebar to the 1 horizontal and 3 vertical lines in the center of the piece, even going so far as to bend the rebar around the tiny center diamonds. That will prevent any sagging and bulging that stained glass pieces are prone to over time.
